Freedom to associate and disassociate

I believe that everyone should have the right to live among the people of his or her choice. For example, Christian fundamentalists should have the right to live in enclaves where only Christian fundamentalists are tolerated. Homosexuals, tree huggers, Caucasians, Negroids, and everyone else should have the right to live in the community of their choice - either among their own kind, or in a rainbow city where all kinds of people tolerate each other. Forcing people to live in a hostile community makes as much sense as forcing them to live in a jail.
